Apple is DOWN! Services, including iCloud and Photos, are affected by interruptions
- Some of Apple’s services have been experiencing outages since Wednesday afternoon
- Currently, a number of iCloud services, Photos and Find My Friend are defective
- The panel started around 1:30 p.m. ET, which hit other Apple features
- Removed Apple Music, the App Store and iTunes – but they work
Apple currently has outages or partial outages with a number of services.
The tech giant’s system dashboard has interruptions in Pictures, Find My Friend and eight iCloud services.
However, iCloud Backup is part of this group, which means that users can’t back up their devices.
Earlier this afternoon, users were facing a “slow or unavailable” service with Apple Music, the App Store, iMessage and iTunes – but the error was fixed within two hours.
The outage began around 1:30 p.m. ET, but still affects a large portion of iCloud services, and Apple did not specify when they will be repaired or what caused their failure.

Cloud Backup, iCloud Bookmarks and Tabs, iCloud Calendar, iCloud Contacts, iCloud Drive, iCloud Keychain, iCloud Mail, iCloud Notes, and iCloud Storage Upgraders have a red triangle, which means a break.
Apple Photos and Find My Friend are not available.
Many of these services, such as iCloud Notes and iCloud Calendar, are key tools for workers who use them to perform daily tasks.
However, these are just the tip of the iceberg, as earlier this morning Apple says it noticed problems in other services around 08:26 ET, according to SlashGear.
And the most favorable features have decreased – App Store, Apple Books, Apple Music and Apple Music.

The iTunes Store, Mac App Store and Apple Radio were also presented with the red triangle.
Apple’s status page says that these services came out at 8:26 AM ET and the issues were resolved at 10:43 AM ET.
The page does not share details about when the service will be restored.
This is the second accident Apple has faced in the last week, as in January the technology giant released an update to its operating system, iOS 14.4, to fix three security vulnerabilities that “could have been actively exploited” by hackers.
The technology giant has released a statement on its Apple support page, which shows that two errors have been identified in the Webkit, the browser engine that powers Safari and one in the main operating system, Kernel.

Many of these services, such as iCloud Notes and iCloud Calendar, are key tools for workers who use them to perform daily tasks.
Kernel Defect has been described as a “race condition” that can allow malicious applications to lift privileges, but the update fixes it with “improved lock”.
WebKit vulnerabilities have been fixed with improved restrictions, but without an update, hackers could remotely access devices “to cause arbitrary code execution,” Apple said.
Apple rarely announces problems with its systems that could be used by malicious actors in malicious activities, but the technology giant is open to receiving reports from others who find a security vulnerability.
