Leakster tweets, suggesting that a new iMac announcement could be just a few days away
The device known as L0vetodream has earned a fairly high reputation in recent years as a person with impeccable knowledge of Apple’s future plans. On this occasion, he posted a tweet revealing two images. One features Apple’s “Spring Loaded” event logo, while the other features the long-discontinued iMac G3 color product line. These clues to the launch of redesigned colorful iMac models that could be part of Apple’s April 20 announcement.
The redesigned track means that Apple could eventually remove the big frames from the new iMac models and introduce new display sizes. According to another tipster, the new iMacs will come in two display sizes and will have a 12-core SoC based on 5 nm M1. However, the same tipster said that the redesigned Apple Silicon iMac models were postponed until October.

A previous rumor circulated by Jon Prosser claimed that the new iMacs will end up in a fresh wave of colors, similar to the iMac G3 models, but with massive design changes. According to the details, these new cars would be inspired by Pro Display XDR, with a more compact design, but with a significant reduction in frames.
