a Apex Legends The player discovers Olympus on the other hand, had a terrible day. As a result, the game collapsed for both the player and all their teammates. Reddit user Jolly-Moment shared a video of the problem, in which a collision with a Trident vehicle causes the player to suddenly appear long in the air. While in the air, Jolly-Moment’s screen told them to return to the ring, but there was no way to do so. The player tried to make the most of the situation by drawing on the map, but to no avail.
A video of the issue can be found in the Reddit post embedded below.
This was a game-breaking experience (literally all of our games crashed after that) from r / apexlegends
Given the specific circumstances that made this problem happen, it seems that this is not the kind of problem that most Apex Legends players will have to worry. A lot of minor issues tend to slip through cracks during the development process because it is difficult to test for every possible scenario. While this may seem frustrating for any player to meet, most fans probably won’t have to worry about avoiding it.
Olympus is the third map from Apex Legendsand was added to the game as part of last season’s Season 7 update. A city floating above the planet Psamathe, Olympus allows players to travel on the map using Trident vehicles. Normally, running over another player will not cause real damage to the opponent, but this time it was a little different, of course! Given that the map is relatively new, Jolly-Moment had the opportunity to check out everything Olympus has to offer from a beautiful perspective. It’s just a shame they couldn’t enjoy the views more, given the collapse!
Apex Legends is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A Nintendo Switch version of the game has also been announced, but no release date has been confirmed. You can check out all of our previous game covers right here.
