Apex Legends Switch news is coming soon, says Respawn Entertainment

According to a recent YouTube video and an Amazon recording, Respawn Entertainment’s Battle Royale free-to-play game Apex Legends arrives next month on February 2nd.

Although there is no official confirmation from EA yet, game director Chad Grenier has now answered a question on Twitter – asking when the Switch version of the game will be released. Apparently, Nintendo fans can expect some news very soon. Here is the complete exchange:

Apex Legends was originally released on Switch last year until Respawn decided to postpone the game in October. Grenier said this was to make sure the team did the Switch version “right”.

There is also some news about the Japanese retail launch via GoNintendo. Somewhat surprisingly, it is full of “digital only” content and will not include a playing card.

If Apex Legends arrives next week, at this rate, it will be could be a surprise drop on the eShop. Will you check this free-to-play title whenever it lands? Comment below.
