Following the news that Japan Studio Sony is reorganizing, another manufacturer has left the company. This time, it’s Masami Yamamoto, who debuted as a producer at Tenchu series.
Yamamoto would continue to work on several titles, including Tokyo Jungle, The sacrifice of the soul, and Transmitted by blood.
On Twitter, Yamamoto revealed that he left Japan Studio on February 28, bringing almost a 25-year career to Sony. “Well, from now on I can play games for any platform …”, he wrote. “What a strange feeling!”
As Kotaku previously reported, a number of high-profile creators have left Japan Studio. In the an official statement, Sony wrote that it is reorganizing the studio to “further strengthen commercial operations.”
