April is free Playstation plus the range of games has been officially announced. I already knew that Oddworld: Soulstorm will be on file for PS5, but what else can subscribers expect?
Well, on PS4, we have a pretty surprising zombie theme. Days Gone, the open world adventure from Sony Bend, is prepared together with the solid cooperative survival shooter Zombie Army 4: Dead War. Two very good games, but it will no doubt be a little annoying about the inclusion of Days Gone, which is already one of the PS Plus Collection games on the PS5.
While we still don’t have to look at Oddworld: Soulstorm – stay tuned for that – we recommend the other two titles. In ours Days Gone PS4 Reviews, I described the game as “comfortable food in the open world”:
The survival surface of Days Gone gives it enough personality to distance it from the dozens of other open world people already available. A dense selection of overlapping game mechanics make for a fun action, even if the title’s remarkable mission design doesn’t always make the best of them. The story may drift, and the overall package isn’t as polished as its PS4-exclusive counterparts – but when it comes to comfort gaming games, you could celebrate with much worse snacks than this.
And I had equally strong praise for “The Best Rebellion Game So Far,” which I gave an 8/10 score Zombie Army 4: Dead War PS4 Reviews:
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is one of the best cooperation-focused games on the PS4. His fleshy campaign boasts an impressive variety of levels, a superb control scheme and a pleasant gameplay, while a Horde mode tests your skills to the fullest. Rebellion has created an experience with so much to see and do that it could take a few weeks for a group of players to master everything on offer – a crowning success for this type of game. Zombie Army 4: Dead War is an absolute revolt of a title as naughty as it is fun to play.
