Abs are back in town
It’s time to call in the new year and with it comes Anji Mito’s birthday on January 1, which, of course, makes this the perfect time to make a little celebration in the world of Guilty Gear.
Arc System Works has definitely agreed, considering that they have now released the game trailer for Anji, as it will appear in Guilty Gear Strive with all the abs and fans you could hope for during these festivities.
First appeared 20 years ago with the launch of GGX, Mito fights using his Zessen fans and traditional Japanese dance steps that seem to return completely to Strive.
Being one of the few Japanese left in the world, Anji is a man wanted for both escaping the colonies in which they were placed and stealing Zessen, which happens to be one of the sacred treasures, such as the swords of Sol and Ky.

Those who have recently returned to play Accent Core will probably notice a complete overhaul of Anji’s animations, which is not surprising, given that this is the first time he is fighting in the three-dimensional realm.
Most of his attacks seem to be intact, however, since we will see Fuujin’s specialty several times, although we only see what seems to be being pursued right now.
A very visible move absent at the moment is Kai’s ironing, which gave him a lot of pressure and mixing scenarios, so it would be a shame if he didn’t return to Strive.
Anji also obviously keeps his butterfly projectile and general aesthetics, because he wouldn’t be himself without the Guard Point meter mechanic, who is also seen a few times.
Guilty Gear Strive is scheduled to appear worldwide on April 9, 2021 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, although players may have access a few days earlier, pre-ordering the Deluxe / Ultimate edition.
Although there is no character to identify the last member of Strive’s list, ArcSys finally confirms that the next announcement will appear in February 2021. You can check out the new trailer below.
