Pack of six exclusively for the target Animal Crossing: New Horizons The Sanrio Amiibo cards went on sale this morning at 9:00 and sold out almost immediately. Moments later, the six-dollar packages began display on eBay for over $ 100. Is anyone surprised?

Despite the fact that Target restricted online take-over storage orders and limited sales to two per customer, a common nonsense happened. Customers put the packages in their baskets online only to be told that they were no longer in stock when they left for check-out. Some Twitter users have reported successful purchases made after many minutes of refreshment. Many successful buyers returned and immediately put up for sale the packages purchased at a high price. The whole business saddened many.

However, there is good news. The cards, each of them unlocking us good kitten– themed villagers and objects in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, are actually reissues of the cards launched in 2016. This means that the market for Amiibo bootleg books on websites like Etsy is full, we will call them DIYers, who will sell work tokens that unlock the same content for low, low prices. Anticipating clusterfudge this morning, I placed an order a few weeks ago and received a nice little set that works really well and even came with bonus stickers.

So there is this. Gamestop is also currently selling Action Replay Powersaves, a device capable of writing Amiibo data to NFC tags (which are pretty cheap themselves) for only $ 15. I ordered one of these again this morning, just to try it out. I mean, it can’t be bad if I sell the thing at Gamestop, right?

In addition to all this, I heard from friends that, although online orders were limited, many Target stores in their areas still sell card packages on store shelves today, so you might be lucky. And if you’re unlucky, be misleading. Just don’t give scalpers who use bots any money from you. They shouldn’t be paid because they’re stupid.
