Angelia Jolie revealed that she is focusing on “healing our family” following her bitter divorce from Brad Pitt.
A new photo released by British Vogue for their March cover number shows Angelina at her $ 25 million (£ 18.2 million) home in Los Angeles with three of her six children – Zahara, 16, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.
In the accompanying interview, the 45-year-old Oscar-winning actress reflects on what she describes as “a few pretty hard years” after breaking up with her children’s father, 57-year-old Brad, in 2016.
The screen star and the humanitarian said what “ice is like [is] melting and the blood returning to my body ‘while working to heal his family from the tumultuous time.

The new black and white photo sees Angelina, dressed in a white sleeveless top, sitting at the table while her children are caught in a delicious table.
The photo was taken when British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful caught up with the actress at her Los Angeles home to discuss her family and work.
The accompanying interview sees Angelina reflecting on her life since the end of her 12-year relationship with Brad.
The humanitarian has been alone since he broke up with Brad’s colleague in September 2016, after two years of marriage.

The former couple is said to be “in a better place” after fighting for finances and custody of their children.
Confessing that she “doesn’t know” if she is happy now, Angelina insisted to Vogue that she has a positive outlook on the future.
The girl’s star, interrupted, said: “The last years have been quite difficult. I focused on healing our family. It turns slowly, like melting ice and blood returning to my body.
“I look forward to fifty years – I feel like I’m going to take fifty steps. Although I was on the trampoline the other day, and the kids said, “No, Mom, don’t do this. You will be hurt. “And I thought, ‘God, isn’t that funny?’ ”

“It was a day when I was an action star, and now the kids are telling me to get off the trampoline because I’m going to get hurt.”
Angelina insists that she does not consider herself a “traditional mother at home” because “she was never very good at staying calm”, but she recognizes the six children because they “helped” her maternity trip.
Regarding juggling her career with caring for her children, the Tomb Raider icon told the publication: “Well, I’ve never been very good at staying calm.
“Even though I wanted to have many children and be a mother, I always imagined myself as Jane Goodall, traveling somewhere in the middle of the jungle. I did not imagine it in that true, traditional sense.
“I feel that I lack all the skills to be a traditional mother at home. I manage because the children are quite resilient and help me, but I don’t know how at all.

“I don’t know at all”: the 45-year-old actress admitted that she does not consider herself a “traditional mother at home”, while she touched “hard” for a few years and was approaching fifty years old.
Angelina filed to file for her marriage to Brad in 2016, saying in a June 2020 interview with Vogue India that it was for “my family’s well-being”, adding “it was the right decision”.
At the time, it was reported that Pitt engaged in a violent, alcohol-screaming match with Jolie, prompting 19-year-old eldest son Maddox to defend his mother.
Jolie was granted temporary custody for all six children, and Brad was granted visitation rights with a court-appointed therapist.
In 2018, a court ruled in Brad’s favor after he claimed that Angelina was preventing the children from having a consistent relationship with him. He received temporary summer custody that allowed him to spend time with the children without Jolie present.

Then that summer, she claimed she had not paid “significant” child allowances for more than a year, with Pitt replying that he had lent Angelina $ 8 million and given her an additional $ 1.8 million to help with the bills.
The custody process was due to begin in November 2018, but the two reached an agreement, ET reporting that it is in the best interests of the children and has eliminated the need for a trial.
Pitt was granted less than 50 percent custody of the children, despite a desire for equal joint custody, prompting him to continue fighting for what he considered appropriate in another lawsuit.

The couple was governed “legally alone” in April 2020, but the statute did not complete the divorce or custody battle.
Brad continues to seek joint custody with a trial that was scheduled for October, as he compiled a list of more than 20 witnesses to strengthen his case.
The couple had already decided that Maddox was not a custodial consideration and could decide when she wanted to see Brad because he was no longer a minor.
Many details of the trial were kept under cover, although it was assumed that a decision would be expected at the next trial which was scheduled for 21 December.
In her last interview with Vogue, the Unbroken star also touched on her role as special envoy from the UN Refugee Agency.
Angelina said: “I started at the age of twenty, putting on my boots and backpack and going out to try to figure out what the hell was going on in the world.
“I tried to offer a broader education than I had at school. I grew up in a very empty place, in many ways, so I had to go find a broader understanding.
The activist went on to admit that she believes that the perception of refugees has “worsened” over time, explaining: “We talk as if refugees are a burden. But they had to adapt. They have a different set of abilities, a different look in the eyes.
“They confronted their own humanity in such a profound way. They resisted oppression. We should honor their struggle. Honor the people who ran away from the bombs and protected their children.

Stressing the importance of teaching her children global citizenship, she added: “I am from all over the world. When I see Mad in Cambodia, it’s his house.
“He is a Cambodian man and, at the same time, an American citizen and a global citizen. But it is not only important for him to go there, but it is also important for his brothers to go there.
