Anderson Cooper’s son watching him on TV for the first time is super sweet

While the rest of the nation can see CNN’s Anderson Cooper on their TVs most nights, his son, Wyatt Morgan, just received his first viewing this week.

The news veteran shared on Monday night a photo of his little boy, who turns 1 this month, following his father’s host “Jeopardy!”

“Wyatt has never seen me on TV before and probably won’t for a long time, but it looks like he caught me a little @Jeopardy!” Cooper wrote on Instagram.

He said it was a dream come true to host the show, pay tribute to the late host Alex Trebek and raise funds for Hôpital Albert Schweitzer.

He will raise funds over the two weeks for the organization’s show, a hospital in Haiti that helps Artibonite Valley residents receive medical care.

Cooper shared the news of Wyatt’s birth on April 27, through a surrogate, in a surprise air announcement last year. “She is sweet, soft and healthy, and I am beyond happy,” he said at the time.

“Danger!” previously announced that it will have a number of guest hosts after a six-week period with star competitor Ken Jennings at the helm. Trebek, who had hosted the program for decades, died in November after battling pancreatic cancer.

Cooper is no stranger to the game show. He has appeared several times as a contestant on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” and said he’s been a fan since high school.
