Amber Heard returns to the Aquaman franchise with a remake of the original film

Amber Heard posted a tweet on Saturday in her role in Aquaman 2, in which she will resume her character from the first film.

The 34-year-old is locked in a fight for years with her ex-husband Johnny Depp, in which they denied each other the explosive accusations of domestic violence.

She previously denied rumors that she had been expelled from the franchise and claimed that there were “paid campaigns” to try to fire her.

Heard’s new tweet included a picture of her reading a novel during periods of downtime on the set of the first Aquaman movie.

“Before Aquaman takes out the last pages of this book,” she wrote, adding: “# gettingakindleforaquaman2 @aquamanmovie.”

While promoting the first Aquaman movie in 2018, Heard said in Good Morning America that main character Jason Momoa adopted this method of ripping out the pages of my book, so I would pay attention to him. It would drive me crazy because I would have 30 pages left and it would disappear ”.

Heard confirmed in November last year that it will continue, telling Entertainment Weekly: “Paid rumors and paid social media campaigns do not dictate [casting decisions] because they have no basis in reality. ‘

Her new tweet about Aquaman’s sequel comes less than two weeks after she posted a video on Instagram, expressing her gratitude to those who wanted her.

“I just want to thank all my online supporters – my online supporters and fans,” she said before apologizing “for death threats.”

In 2018, she claimed to have received death threats and lost her job after accusing Johnny of abuse, and in November 2020 her fans violently trolled him on Twitter.

Trolls targeted her five months ago after a British judge ruled that Johnny was violent during the marriage, with some telling her he wanted her dead.

One tweet read: “#AmberHeardisAnAbuser you big b **** I hope you burn in hell for everything you’ve done … #JusticeForJohnnyDepp Johnny is an amazing guy who deserves more. AMBER HEARD THAT GONNA PAYS FOR THIS! ‘

Heard’s new Instagram video showed her sitting on the beach and giving a cheerful tone as she told her followers: “Thank you so much for everything you do to support me. I know it’s not easy sometimes, but I appreciate it.

In another shot, she told fans, “But I’m sorry for the death threats,” falling into a stage whisper for an apology. ‘Thank you I love you!’

Depp, 57, and Heard have been fighting a legal battle through various lawsuits since he filed for divorce in May 2016, after only 15 months of marriage.

A few days after she filed for divorce, she accused him of domestic abuse and secured a temporary restraining order.

Depp strongly denied the allegations, but received a major blow last year when he lost a defamation lawsuit he filed against The Sun for calling him a “wife beater.”

Judge Nicol of the High Court in England and Wales ruled that Sun’s accusation was “substantially true”.

Depp had to pay 628,000 pounds ($ 861,000) in legal fees – and although he tried to appeal the High Court ruling, he was dismissed in March.

Meanwhile, Depp is suing Heard for slander in Virginia, in connection with an opinion published by the Washington Post in which he said that he was a victim of domestic violence.

“Thank you very much for everything you do to support me”: She said: “I know it’s not easy sometimes, but I appreciate it”

Heard filed a $ 100 million counterclaim against him after his former lawyer Adam Waldman dismissed her allegations as part of a “sexual violence hoax.”

Part of the counterclaim – in which he accused Depp of trying to hurt his career by establishing robots on social media – was rejected.

However, both Depp’s $ 35 lawsuit against Heard of Virginia and her $ 100 million suit are ongoing.

During their fight, she included photos of herself with bruises and scars, and he offered photos of himself with facial injuries.

“Thank you, I love you!”: In another photo, she told fans, “But I’m also sorry for the death threats,” falling into a stage whisper for an apology.

Earlier last year, DailyMail.com obtained exclusively audio recordings of Heard, who admitted to “hitting” Depp and throwing “pots and pans” at him.

He is heard saying that he “hit you on the face with a proper slap, but I hit you, he didn’t punch you. Honey, you’re not punched.

On the recording – which was made on her phone by consensus during an informal two-hour “therapy” session – she mocked that she ran away from their altercation, calling him “such a child” and provoking -l:. ‘

At the end of February this year, rumors spread that Amber had been fired from resuming her role as Aquaman de Mara.

However, a Hollywood Reporter journalist wrote on Twitter: “A reliable source said that the reports that Amber Heard was fired from” Aquaman 2 “are inaccurate.”

Heard got into a war of words with Waldman last week, when he posted photos of her on Twitter on a photo shoot after – she says – Depp gave her “black eyes”.

Heard replied on Twitter: “Yes, Mr. Waldman, I may wear makeup on this occasion, but on each occasion you will still be short.”

Also last week, she posted on social media that she was the “queen of vaccines” after she was inoculated against coronavirus.
