Originally released in May 2020, the free MMO from Amazon Game Studios New world slipped in August 2020 and then in the spring of 2021. Accordingly the latest developer update, the game is now released on August 31, 2021, with a closed beta starting July 20.
The latest delay for relatively eagerly anticipated Amazon game somewhat disturbed game studio, according to the update, is to give developers more time to implement and polish the new features of the final game, while ensuring that all moving parts work properly. New world Game director Scot Lane provided a similar explanation for the delay in a video posted on YouTube.
I didn’t play in any of them New worldAlpha events, but as an MMO fan, I look forward to delving into this strange, fictional approach to American colonization. Here we hope that this final delay is in fact final.
