The International Space Station (ISS) often provides the Internet with their stunning images of Earth, seen from space. Distributed on the official Twitter handle of the ISS, the latest series of images shows the aurora of the Earth viewed between the lights and stars of the city.
The station explains that the picture was taken when the space station orbited at 51.6 ° above the equator.
“The station’s orbit raises it to 51.6 ° above the equator, offering stunning views of the Earth’s aurora in
between city lights and twinkling stars, ”the ISS wrote as it shared photos online.
