ESPN has managed to confirm that Dávila will have a position in the organization chart above Jaime Ordiales, who remains as sporting director and will be the former leader of the late Monarcas Morelia who introduces himself to the chairmen of the board, José Antonio Marín, and the vigilante, Víctor Manuel Velázquez.
The news was first reported by David Faitelson, de ESPN, followed by the chain analyst, Jose Ramon Fernandezconfirmed, as well as several sources consulted.

Until now, the position of executive president – although he could remain as operational director, according to Faitelson – did not exist in Cruz Azul’s organization chart, as by the statutes of the football team, its president should always be the general manager of Cooperativa La Cruz Azul , although after the arrest warrant issued to Guillermo Álvarez on July 29, both management positions were abandoned, both at the club and at the cement company.
