PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The health department of Allegheny County announced on Thursday that it will start administering the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at the Castle Shannon clinic starting next week.

The county health department received four vaccination trays for the first photos and, although it is a series with two photos, the second photo can be administered in a window of 21 to 42 days.
Limited appointments for the first dose will be available on the Castle Shannon website for people 65 and older and only in the week of March 1st.

Registrations to obtain the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at the Castle Shannon VFD banquet hall will open on the county website today at 9:00.
No walks or registrations will be allowed on site and anyone who does not meet the criteria will be rejected.
