Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, developed by Jankenteam, looks like another welcome remaster of a much-loved retro title. The good news for the old SEGA heads is that it now has a firm release date, which will arrive on the Nintendo Switch on June 24th.
To celebrate the release date, it has a new trailer (via IGN).
It looks like a potentially excellent reimagining; there will be new levels, modes and music, but also the option to experience the game in its original form SEGA Master System; I had a discussion with the developers last year as well.
As for the price, it will be $ 19.99 on the eShop and all the other digital stores, but there is also a rather special physical edition for pre-order from Signature Edition Games; the standard edition is $ 29.99 and the impressive Signature edition is $ 54.99. Unfortunately, the Switch versions are $ 5 more than the PlayStation / Xbox equivalents, which we can safely say is a good charge cartridge for switching. In any case, go to this page to check the options.
