Air traffic on Mars! Missions from 3 countries will be on that planet

Mexico City /

Mars is one of the most seductive mysteries that astronomers and scientists have worldwide; the proof is that in early February, three missions from different countries will coincide on the red planet, something very special in the history of space exploration by human beings.

AIR TRAFFIC ON THE MARCH WITH THREE MISSIONS

According to the information provided by the agency AP, these are the missions of both China, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.

The first to arrive will be the so-called Emirates mission Amal (Hope in Arabic) this Tuesday; less than 24 hours later, it will arrive Tianwen (searching for the truth in Chinese), while on February 18, the rover will arrive Perseverance (perseverance in English).

In the case of Amal, it is the first mission of the Emirates to reach Mars, while Tianwen seeks to be the second to land on the surface of the planet, while that of NASA is looking to succeed and land as they did in 2012.

WHY DID THE THREE MISSIONS COME TOGETHER?

The reason these three missions coincide on Mars is that They were launched from Earth in July 2020, taking advantage of a window of opportunity that appears between our planet and this one, which takes place only once every two years.

In the case of the Arab mission, it aims to be at a certain height to monitor Martian climate; Chinese mission, will remain in orbit until May waiting for the opportunity to canraterrain, while that of NASA will go directly to the surface of the planet.
