After the fracture of Raúl Jiménez, the prime minister implements a new rule

After the skull fracture suffered by the Mexican Raul Jimenez, First league amended its regulations by incorporating an amendment in case of contusions.

The new rule means that up to two replacements can be made for head injuries, even if all the changes have already been used.

Opposing teams can also make a change at the same time. The first match of the test is scheduled for this Saturday, between Aston Villa and Arsenal.

The implementation of this rule will last until the end of the 2020-21 season, but can be extended until the next one. The test will be played in the Women’s Super League and the Women’s Championship on the same date and in FA CUP from the fifth round of February 9-11.

When Jimenez – fractured his skull, after a collision with David Luiz (Arsenal defender), the alarms went off in First league, due to the absence of a concussion protocol, which is why this new rule has been implemented.
