Russia expects “nothing good” from future US President Joe Biden, whose policy will be guided by the “Rusofobia”, the Deputy Foreign Minister said Wednesday, Sergei Riabkov.

“We don’t expect anything good, of course. It would be strange to expect anything good from people who, in many cases, have made a career out of russophobia and thrown bile on my land ”, Riabkov told the Russian news agency Interfax, at a time of heightened tensions between the two countries as a result of a massive cyber attack in the United States, attributed to Moscow.

Riabkov is one of the Russian leaders of relations with America and of weapons non-proliferation, in particular nuclear, for which it is one of the main interlocutors of the US State Department. Think that Russia must have a “selective dialogue” with the United States, focused only on “issues of interest” to Moscow.

Russia must pursue a policy of ‘total containment of the United States, in all directions, because US policy towards Russia is very hostile, ” said Riabkov.
