NEW YORK, USA. – Last Monday, a jury from New York, United States, unanimously declared the Honduran Geovanny Fuentes Ramirez He is guilty of three crimes related to drug trafficking to the North American country.
The 12 members of the jury deliberated for two days to make the decision that opens the possibility of the Honduran being sentenced to a 40-year sentence to life imprisonment.

Following the resolution, Fuentes Ramírez raised his hand and asked through the interpreter that his family could visit him in prison, citing humanitarian reasons, as reported by the American journalist Emily Palmer, who has handled the case from the beginning.
Now, whoever was classified by the prosecutor as a “prolific” and “murderer” drug trafficker will have to wait until June 22 of this year to find out what his sentence will be, in a session scheduled for 3:00 p.m. . .
