Actress Elliot Page and dancer Emma Portner are divorcing after three years of marriage, CNN reported. In a joint statement Tuesday, Elliot Page and Emma Portner told CNN that although they separated last summer, they continue to share cordial conditions: “After much thought and careful analysis, I made the difficult decision to divorce. following the separation last summer. We have the greatest respect for each other and we remain close friends. “Elliot Page and Emma Portner were married in January 2018, shortly after they made their relationship public. The former couple started dating in 2017.
Elliot Page went gay in 2014, and in December last year he revealed himself to be transgender. An excerpt from his long statement read: “I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me throughout this journey. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to follow my true self. ” Emma Portner was Elliot Page’s biggest supporter, cheering him up, writing, “Elliot’s existence is a gift in itself. Shine on sweet E. I love you so much.”
Emma Portner is a professional dance instructor at the Broadway Dance Center. She choreographed and even appeared for Justin Bieber’s music video Life is worth living and was also part of the singer’s Purpose World Tour.
Elliot Page is best known for his role in the 2007 film Juno, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award. Elliot Page ‘s impressive works include films such as Inception, X-Men: The Last Stand, Tallulah and X-Men: Days of the future, among others. He also plays in the popular Netflix series Umbrella Academy.
