Week 64 (we don’t include last week in competition due to the Brodie Lee tribute show) of Wednesday Night War, AEW reportedly saw Dynamite defeat WWE NXT in terms of ratings.

The numbers are down from last week’s edition of Brodie Lee’s Celebration of Life of Dynamite, which attracted 977,000 viewers with a rating of 0.40 in key demographics.

Wednesday’s evil New Year’s edition NXT it seems to have attracted 641,000 viewers (+ 9.4%) on the US network, with a rating of 0.16 (+ 33.3%) in the 18-49 demographic key.

The numbers are up from last week’s show, which drew 586,000 viewers with a rating of 0.12 in the key 18-49 demo.

Cable news channels have certainly affected both AEW and NXT last night due to coverage of riots and failures in Washington, DC.

Stay tuned for more.
