Actress Shailene Woodley confirms her engagement to Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers

Actress Shailene Woodley confirmed her engagement to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Protagonist with Jimmy Fallon,” which aired Monday.

Woodley, who was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role in the HBO drama series “Big Little Lies,” said she and Rodgers got engaged “a short time ago.”

Rodgers, 37, mentioned his engagement and thanked his fiancée as he accepted the third career MVP award on February 6, but did not name her.

Woodley, 29, told Fallon that she had not yet participated in one of Rodgers’ games because of the pandemic and acknowledged that as she grew up, the sport was never really on her “radar.”

“When we met, we also knew it was a type of football, but we didn’t know what kind of football it was,” Woodley explained. “And I’m still constantly learning.”

Noting Rodgers’ football talent, she continued: “I don’t understand. He is good. He is wonderful. But, like that, I don’t understand. Because I don’t know him as a type of football. the nerd who wants to host “Jeopardy!” This is the guy I know. “

Rodgers revealed last month that she was asked to be a guest host for an episode of her favorite show – one she appeared in a celebrity edition in 2015.
