Actor from “Saved by the Bell” (“Saved by the Bell”) Dustin Diamond began chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer, his representative reported.
Diamond, best known for his role as Screech in the original 90’s comedy series, was hospitalized in Florida earlier this month. Last week, his team revealed he had cancer.
“Dustin has completed his first round of chemistry and is scheduling a second. Physiotherapy will start soon too “said the actor’s spokesman, Roger Paul, is a statement.

“Dustin is looking forward to spending more time with his girlfriend, playing bass, playing video games and making videos for his fans on social media.”added.
“Saved by the Bell” aired between 1989 and 1993 and gave rise to the spinoff series “Saved by the Bell: College Years” and “Saved by the Bell: The New Class,” in which Diamond appeared. A sequel was released last year with many of the actors from the original cast, such as Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, but not Diamond.
Diamond has faced several back tax lawsuits and foreclosure proceedings. He appeared in reality shows, made a pornographic video and produced a revealing documentary on Lifetime TV entitled “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story”. In 2015, he was sentenced to four months in prison for his stabbed role in a Wisconsin bar.
