Abinader will travel to the Monte Grande and Guayubín dams, which are under construction

President Luis Abinader will exhaust an agenda tomorrow Sunday that includes visits to the Guayubín and Monte Grande dams under construction in the northern and southern regions of the country.

According to the program provided by the Communications Department, in the morning the president will tour the Guayubín Dam, located in the community of El Pastor, in Santiago Rodríguez, accompanied by the administrator of the Dominican Hydroelectric Generation Company (EGEHID), Rafael Salazar.

In the afternoon, the agenda continues at the Monte Grande dam in the town of La Mina, near Quita Coraza, accompanied by the director of the Dominican Institute of Hydraulic Resources (INDRHI) Olmedo Caba.

This visit also includes descents to Azua and Barahona.

“In the case of Monte Grande, the president will visit the housing project built to relocate about 394 families who lived in the place where the work is being built,” says a press release issued today.
