Abinader sends a message of unity and solidarity to Dominicans abroad

President Luis Abinader assured that the Dominican government is “aware” of the situation facing the diaspora in the United States and around the world in connection with the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19).

“Allow me to send a message of unity, brotherhood and solidarity to all Dominicans living abroad, especially at these times when a pandemic is affecting us and all citizens of the world. Our government is very aware of you, your personal progress and your achievements… ”said the president of the republic.

Abinader also took the opportunity to thank the Dominicans abroad for their contributions to the “sustainable development of the country” and for keeping “Dominicanity alive and passing it on to new generations”.

The head of state made these statements during the Dominicans on the Hill (Dominicans on the Capitol) event, organized and led by Congressman Adriano Espaillat.
