The President of the Republic, Luís Abinader, arrived in Madrid, Spain, this Sunday morning, for a two-day visit, before continuing to Andorra, where he will participate in the twenty-seventh Ibero-American Summit to be held on Tuesday. and Wednesday next week.

The President immediately announced his first meeting with the former President of Spain, Felipe González.

The president arrived at Adolfo Suárez Airport at 10:40 a.m. (Spanish time), in the company of Dominican Foreign Minister Roberto Alvarez and ProDominican director Biviana Riveiro.

Until 16:30, President Abinader will meet with a commission of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).

The presidential agenda also includes a meeting with former Spanish President José María Aznar at 18:00.

At 20:00, personalities of the Dominican community based in Spain offer a dinner to the Dominican president and his entourage.

For Monday, he is scheduled to attend an audience with King Philip VI.
