The President of the Republic Luis Abinader, by decree no. 736-20, appointed 25 consuls, vice-consuls and auxiliaries in thirteen countries around the world.
Among the new appointments is that of Carlos Polibio “Kalil” Michel Presbot, who was appointed consul general of the Dominican Republic in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Likewise, one of the nations with the highest number of appointments in the document mentioned above is Haiti, which had four.
These people will work at Cap Haitiene and Belladere consulates. Luis Octavio Sandoval Campusano will be the vice-consul in Cap Haitien; Luis Antonio Valdeyaque Angomás, vice-consul at Belladere; Ramón Minaya Castillo and Cristino Ramírez Peguero will be assistants at the Cap Haitien consulate.
The vice-consuls were also appointed in Canadian cities, with Pavel Amaury Castro Pimentel and José Antonio Carmona Sánchez in Montreal, and Yokasta Contreras Cuello and Abel Manuel Rodríguez Duverge in Toronto.
In the United States, Nataly Altagracia Salomón Jiménez was named vice consul in New York. In the same position, but in Chicago, Luz Dahianny Núñez Marrero and as an assistant in Boston appointed José Ramón Ventura Vásquez.
Europe
They also appointed Denny Reyes Moreno, María Altagracia Jiménez Mota and Kenia Lombert as vice-consuls in Italy.
Rafael González Núñez will play the same role, but in Valencia, Spain. In the Czech Republic, Wilson Antonio Ferreras Ferreras will perform these functions.
Both Clara Elena Perdomo Figueroa and Ani Mayelin Rodríguez Acosta will serve as vice-consuls in Zurich, Switzerland.
Prosculo de los Santos Mañón will be vice-consul in Marseille, France.
Caribbean
In Curaçao, Luis Alberto de los Santos and Yonatán Abreu Díaz were appointed vice-consuls; José Erasmo Ortiz Vélez in San Martin; Ana Bienvenida Mejía in Puerto Rico and Eldaa Sofía Ruiz Serrano in Aruba.
