Santiago Mayor and PLD political committee member Abel Martínez says former President Danilo Medina should be president of the Dominican Liberation Party
The mayor wrote through his Twitter account that Danilo Medina’s leadership “strengthens the party in these times of great challenges and transformations”.
According to Martínez, Danilo’s experience will make him a stronger, more united and more winning party.
“Comrade @DaniloMedina, must be the president of @PLDEnLinea, his leadership strengthens the party in these times of great challenges and transformations, his experience will make us a stronger, united and victorious party !!!”, wrote Abel Martínez on Twitter account .
On February 14, the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) held its internal elections to elect the 300 new members of the Central Committee at the national level, corresponding to 190 from Santo Domingo and 110 from the provinces.
The new members of the PLD Central Committee will be appointed on March 5.
