A tsunami of iPhone 13 leaks reveals new features and design changes – BGR

We are probably about six months away from the presentation of the iPhone 13, but as has happened repeatedly in recent years, Apple may not reveal until September. On Tuesday, alleged images of the glass front panel of the iPhone 13 leaked online and, as expected, the notch of the sensor housing at the top of the screen finally received a long transformation. Looks like it was just the beginning of the iPhone leak this week.

On Friday, EverythingApplePro on YouTube shared a new video, packed with iPhone 13 leaks from Max Weinbach, writer at Android Police. According to Weinbach, Apple will offer the audio experience an upgrade to the iPhone 13, improving noise cancellation and bringing a clearer sound to the microphone with the formation of the beam.

While the overall design of the iPhone 13 should reflect that of the iPhone 12 – complete with those flat edges that were reintroduced for last year’s flagship – Weinbach’s sources claim that the rear camera has a new look on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The so-called “camera shot” will be smaller this time and will apply to both individual lenses and the glass case that contains all the lenses.

Fans of attractive colors will be delighted to learn that Apple is also changing the graphite color option on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max to make it a much darker black than what we saw on the iPhone 12 Pro models. It will also have a matte finish instead of the glossy finish of the previous generation.

Apple is also testing an orange color for the Pro models, but Weinbach says it is unlikely to come out. Finally, Apple is improving the coating on stainless steel frames to remove stains. This could help solve the irritating discoloration problem that some iPhone 11, iPhone 12 and iPhone SE users have noticed.

Turning to software, Weinbach’s sources say that a new optical image stabilization system on the iPhone 13 will automatically focus on the primary subjects of a scene and make all the necessary adjustments to keep those subjects in the center of the photo. In addition, the Portrait mode is being renovated and will use a new process that combines data from camera lenses and the LiDAR sensor. The addition of LiDAR will allow better edge detection, so that now even “smaller gaps in road signs” can be detected by the iPhone 13 camera.

Weinbach’s latest leak refers to the iPhone 13 mini, which he claims will be part of the iPhone 2021 range, despite the fact that the iPhone 12 mini was an obstacle for Apple. While the iPhone 13 mini will have a slightly larger battery, any real performance gains will be the result of the A15 chip that Apple will bring to the entire series.
