a new regional wellness content platform

In the midst of the global pandemic of COVID-19 coronavirus and the closure, one of the most positive changes that have occurred in people’s perception of their well-being.

This is mainly due to issues such as nutrition and fitness. But there are also clear trends in mental health. Individuals, social networks and even companies have had to understand the importance of people not being in a constant state of stress, anxiety or depression.

However, the problem of mental health is never as effective as when the individual is the one who takes care of them. psychological well-being. This is for the simple reason that only each person can know how they feel, why and what actions they need to take to address the challenges that arise.

Around this idea, appeared recently boys, a platform for Latin America from wellness content focused on three areas: The mind of body and soul. The project, designed by Karen Burschtin Yes Javier Lempert, was launched in the Uruguayan market at the end of February.

We believe that a balanced person makes balanced decisions and this contributes to creating a more balanced world. Our values are: professionalism, love, harmony, balance and community. I was 11 years old in Orders, directing the commercial area, but I was always related to the well-being of the people and I realized that there is no space to gather this content. You could do yoga in one place, gymnastics in another, healthy eating in another, but what happened is that there was no space to gather everything in one place.“, described the Karen Burschtin, Which Former Senior Vice President of SalesOrders, in the middle of El País in Uruguay.

Besides working like sales market, the project aims to generate a welfare community, he added Lad. He also explained that if someone goes in search of yoga, but comes across a video on how to manage suffering, they can hire him, “because maybe that’s what they really need. This differentiates it from a simple market; here I know provides feedback between those of us who produce content and those who experience and share it“.

The idea quickly attracted a group of reputable investors, in particular Sergio Fogel (dLocal), Gabriel Colla (Infocorp), Ariel Burschtin Yes Alvaro Garcia (co-founders of the OrdersYa), which together with the creators of Wellners, make up the board of directors of the new company.

The startup appeared as an evolution of the application GuideOm, created in October 2020, which served as a content director on this topic.

How the platform works

It offers a wide range range of workshops and courses related to personal well-being, the platform sends a link via email 10 minutes before it starts live. In turn, an application is being developed so that these notifications reach the user directly, according to the co-founder.

content production is outsourced to production companies that are responsible for filming the courses. In addition, an independent team deals with the production of promotional videos, as well as their distribution, either in networks, on the platform or in various marketing channels.

In the meantime, the monetization of the brand depends on the content sold. In the case of courses, charges a commission of 20% if the sale was made through the platform and 10% if it comes through the expert’s channels who takes the course. For cases of workshops or live courses, the percentage is 10%, and if the sale comes from the expert, 5%.

I want to empower people who offer wellness content, who often, because they don’t have the right tools to spread and sell it, can’t make a living from it. It inspires me to promote middle-class entrepreneurs who live off of what they really know how to do and, at the same time, help 630 million people living in Latin America. The platform tries to change the world, to offer moments of well-being through digital content to help you live better“, summed up the Uruguayan entrepreneur.
