Police reported that in the afternoon a gunshot wound was reported on Highway 670 in Villa Evangelina, in front of a rubber factory in Manati.
According to preliminary information, Roberto Ángel Martínez Álvarez, a 35-year-old Barceloneta resident, was walking through the above-mentioned place when a vehicle stopped and four people came out with a firearm.
They attacked him in the head and immediately shot him in the right thigh.
Martínez Álvarez, was transported to Dr. Center Hospital in Manati, assisted by the doctor on duty who took a few stitches in his head and has a bullet wound with entry and exit in his right thigh, sent him to the Medical Center in Rio Piedras and to establish.
Agent Isaías Ayala of Manati District is investigating, and Agent Samuel Ramos Cordero of the Arecibo Homicide Division is continuing the investigation.
