A dead man after being shot at an apartment complex in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a shooting that took place around 8:30 p.m. in an apartment complex near Charleston and Lamb Boulevards.

Police say that when they arrived, they found an 18-year-old woman shot, she was transported to the UMC where she died.

It is believed that a group of young people and other young people were listening to music in a car when someone in the back seat had a gun and fired at the 18-year-old victim.

The three people in the back seat ran away, the other two who were in the car stayed and talk to the police.

There were no arrests at this time.

LVMPD says they are looking for a black female who is believed to be 18-19 years old and 2 young black males (late teenagers).

Police are not sure at this time if this was an accidental or intentional shooting.

A total of 6 people were in the car when the shooting took place.

Authorities say they all knew each other from school.
