FORECAST SUMMARY

Sometimes the sky will become cloudy today, but many of us will see sunnier skies than clearer skies.

It will be windy and cold, with highs in the ’40s.

The winds stop at sunset (17:01), and the wind stays light all night.

The sky will be cloudy tonight as a piece of energy passes over us.

Then, on Monday, we are partly sunny. Although it is less windy than today, you will still notice a breeze from time to time on Monday.

It’s cold and windy all week. The highs are in the 30s all week starting Tuesday.

The sun starts on Tuesday, but it gets cloudy in the afternoon as a cold front approaches us.

The weak and cold forehead will give us a few flashes in the evening. A place or two in Poconos will get a quick dust. The rest of us do not see any flakes piled on the ground.

Wednesday will be our sunniest day of the week.

Take advantage of the clear sky and go to Uranus on Wednesday night.

Uranus will be between Mars and the crescent. The moon will be lower in the sky. Then look for the brightest object just above the moon above – this is Mars. Mars has a red tint when you see it through binoculars.

The brightest object near Mars is Uranus. It will be a little below and a little to the left of Mars. It will be much smaller than Mars, which is why you want the binoculars to see it well. If you have binoculars, you will see a shade of blue.

Late at night, the sky becomes cloudy, and we are cloudy on Thursday morning and noon. The clouds come from other cold frontal crosses.

This front has a little more energy than the front on Tuesday. So we’ll see a quick snow dust in places along Lehigh Valley, Schuylkill and Berks County and The Poconos around noon. Philly and the suburbs of Philly will see only a few rains. Then we’ll see some sun back in the late afternoon sky.

Day 2 Forecast.png

We are not worried about the fact that this front turns into a snowstorm and flows over us, which is why we receive less than a layer of snow.

Friday is partly sunny and mostly sunny on Saturday and Sunday of next weekend.

3 Day Forecast.png

It is also quite cool next weekend, with highs only in the middle to 30 years.
