This afternoon, the death of a 4-month-old infant was reported, who arrived at the CIMA hospital in Isabela, without vital signs, the doctor on duty indicated.
Authorities reportedly received a call to the 9-1-1 emergency system regarding the incident. Police interviewed the mother of the 20-year-old girl, Lizmarie Soto Román, a resident of Carr. 112, Zamot district of that city, and reported that her husband called her, told her he had given her milk and then expelled something through her mouth. They are being investigated by the police.
The paramedics transferred the child to the hospital institution mentioned above.
