Dark Mode was fully integrated into Android almost three years ago, right now, but some parts of the system have slipped away. In Android 12, Google finally brings a dark theme to fry messages.
Toast messages, for those who are not versed in the somewhat obscure term, are those small windows that appear at the bottom of the message screen. One of the easiest ways to view a toast is to dive into the “About Phone” section and tap “Compilation Number.” You will then see a toast message about unlocking the developer settings.
Without this, this part of Android, commonly used, has been around for years and has remained largely the same. In Android 12, it gets a slight design adjustment, which puts it a little higher on the screen, at least in pixels, and a modified font. More visibly, the message now matches your system theme, which means that Android toast messages now support a dark theme. Of course, it is a minor change, but it really helps the overall consistency.
In particular, it applies only if application toast message generation supports dark theme.
