Vanessa Hudgens’ thriving story with Pittsburgh Pirates player Cole Tucker began in a “very casual” but Hollywood way.
“Cole and I met in a Zoom meditation group. Very random, yes,” Hudgens recently told Entertainment Tonight. “Zoom, you have to love him.”
Hudgens, who previously met with Zac Efron and most recently with Austin Butler, was first linked to Tucker in November. The 32-year-old actress and the 24-year-old sportswoman made their romance official on Instagram on Valentine’s Day.
Hudgens said Tucker is “kind of perfect” for her.

In late February, Tucker spoke about his relationship with Hudgens during a spring media training session, caressing, “She’s wonderful, I love her.”

A month later, Hudgens traveled to Bradenton, Florida, where she and her musician friend GG Magree checked on Tucker and the Pirates in Action.
“Do you like sports? Because we like them,” Hudgens wrote an Instagram photo from the stands.

During the spring training game on March 23, Tucker – who is a shortstop and an outfielder – took a walk with two batsmen. The pirates fell to the Minnesota twins, 1-0.

That same month, Tucker shared a series of personal snapshots on Instagram, including a photo of Hudgens smiling during a sunset dinner.
“Release the good,” Tucker posted, to which Hudgens replied, “Release evillllllll.”

Tucker and the Pirates are currently ranked 4th in the NL [National League]Central ranking with a record of 7-9.
