Joy, Danger! enthusiasts: LeVar Burton is connected to the otter!
The actor-director-educator – who surpassed many Danger the wish list of fans to finally succeed the late Alex Trebek – will serve as one of the rotating hosts of the game show. Its two-week run will air this summer.
Sony Pictures Television on Wednesday announced the final harvest of interim hosts that will end season 37, and in addition to Burton, the list includes Good morning AmericaGeorge Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts and David Faber of CNBC.
Burton took to Twitter on Wednesday and yet they confirmed that the “passionate support” of the fans brought him the task, adding: “I am happy, excited and eager to host the guests Danger!and I will do my best to live up to your faith in you. YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE! ”
GOAT contestant Ken Jennings kicked off the post-Trebek era in January and was followed by Danger! EP Mike Richards, former Today co-host Katie Couric, polarizing health guru and talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz, Aaron Rodgers, NFL MVP, and CNN’s Anderson Cooper, who is currently in the middle of his two-week period.
