Three additional deaths through COVID-19
SANTA FE – Health officials in New Mexico announced an additional 161 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. According to the state Department of Health, the latest cases are:

· 1 new case in Curry County
· 18 new cases in Doña Ana County
· 1 new case in Eddy County
· 4 new cases in Grant County

· 4 new cases in Rio Arriba County
· 19 new cases in Sandoval County
· 18 new cases in San Juan County
· 1 new case in San Miguel County
· 14 new cases in Santa Fe County
· 1 new case in Sierra County
· 2 new cases in Socorro County
· 5 new cases in Valencia County
· 1 new case among detainees in the New Mexico Correctional Department at the Central Correctional Unit in New Mexico, Valencia County
The Department of Health reported three additional COVID-19 deaths in New Mexico on Tuesday:
· A 40-year-old man from McKinley County. The individual was hospitalized and had basic conditions.
· A 60-year-old woman from McKinley County. The individual had basic conditions.
· A 60-year-old woman from Santa Fe County. The individual was hospitalized and had basic conditions.
The death toll from COVID-19 in New Mexico is now 4,010.

The Department of Health has detected the spread of the community in the state of New Mexico and is investigating cases without known exposure. The agency reports that, given the infectious nature of the virus, other residents are likely to be infected but still tested or confirmed to be positive. Towards that end, all new Mexicans were instructed to stay home, except for outings absolutely necessary for health, safety, and well-being.
