A Kickstarter campaign for Monster Hunter World: The Board Game will be released this week. Announced for the first time in January, the board game Monster Hunter aims to bring the action of killing the beast of the beloved series on the physical boards for the first time.

While gameplay details are thin on the ground, developer Steamforged Games has previously developed several other physical titles based on popular video games, including Resident Evil 2, Ni no Kuni 2, and Dark Souls.
