Samsung has a new Bluetooth keyboard to look at and hopes it will be the last one you will ever buy. It might be worth a look, assuming you’re interested in a one-size-fits-all travel keyboard for desktop, tablet, phone, and anything else you can think of. Samsung Keyboard Trio 500 monkeys recent designs from Logitech and Anker with a quick switching function with three devices, but it is built from the beginning with the company’s DeX software in mind.
Taking a look at the Trio 500, you might confuse it with an Apple Magic keyboard or an Anker design built on the same line. But the functional row has a few additional tools included, on the top of the ordinary device, one, two and three switches. It has a functional button to activate DeX, the desktop-style interface for Samsung phones and tablets and three quick launch functions of the application. Naturally, both functions only work on a DeX-compatible Galaxy device.
The keyboard also has just about everything you need to work with Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS, thanks to an ANSI look. The keyboard has been unveiled on Samsung’s Levant website, both in black and white options and will likely have a wide launch after the upcoming Unpacked event. No price or date was listed.
