According to a report by Daily mail, Queen Elizabeth II would have brought with her at least two memories to remind her of her 73-year-old husband, a photo of their trip to Malta as newlyweds and one of Philip’s white handkerchiefs from Savile Row tailors , Duke of Edinburgh, Kent & Graba.

The queen also left a handwritten letter to her late husband on the coffin. She is said to have signed the short letter “Lilibet”, a childhood nickname that Philip is believed to be the last person to call her.

According to a report by Daily mailThe queen brought with her some special memories at the funeral, where she had to sit alone because of the COVID-19 guidelines. Keeping special items with her was apparently a way for the Queen to feel close to her 73-year-old husband during the service.
A person from the region told the newspaper that Queen Elizabeth II intends to bring one of Philip’s signed white handkerchiefs in her purse. The handkerchiefs were made by the Savile Row tailors of the Duke of Edinburgh, Kent & Haste, and were a classic part of his style. Philip wore handkerchiefs folded into squares and tucked into his chest.
The handkerchief was not the only thing that the queen was said to have included in her purse in memory of her late husband.
Daily mail also reported that the queen brought a cherished image of herself and Philip together in Malta as newlyweds. The trip was one of the queen’s favorite memories and he later described it as the only time he could live “normally”, according to Post.
The queen left a handwritten personal letter to her late husband on Philip’s coffin. The monarch reportedly signed the note “Lilibet,” a childhood nickname that Philip was the last person he still named.
