The “creature” hiding in the tree terrorizes the city of Poland turns out to be a croissant stuck in a tree

This is a scary croissant.

According to an animal control group in Poland, they received a call that an unidentifiable animal was terrorizing the inhabitants of a street in Krakow. However, when officials arrived at the scene, they found that there was no danger.

The Krakow Society for the Protection of Animals posted about the incident on Facebook, confirming that a woman called to report that a “creature” had been terrorizing her neighbors for two days. According to the post, it appears that people were afraid to open their windows because an unidentified animal was lurking in a tree.

However, when officials arrived at the scene, they found that there was no chance of the animal entering anyone’s house or throwing itself at anyone walking under the tree.

That’s because the “creature” was actually just a croissant stuck in a tree.

The Krakow Society for Animal Welfare theorized that the croissant was housed in a tree by someone trying to feed some birds, although they could not confirm this. Regardless, the croissant was taken out of the tree without incident and the reign of pastry terror over the neighborhood ended without incident.

The group posted photos of the croissant on Facebook, which show that it was, in fact, housed between several branches of a tree near residential buildings.

However, animal welfare workers wrote on Facebook that, although this incident was funny, it is still what needs to be done to report strange observations. Usually, the strange creatures that hide in the trees do not end up being horns and it is safer to let the trained workers do it.
