It appears that artworks from Season 3 of the Cold War and War Areas have been released.

Treyarch responded to reports of Black Ops Cold War Zombies players receiving the “Sail 630 Nuclear Bug” error code and having their accounts permanently banned after that.

In a new April 16 update on Reddit, Treyarch Community Manager said they have further investigated the issue and identified a number of bans caused by the bug that will be lifted.

He says not all bans have been lifted because some bans are very legitimate in this way, but many have done so after a review of security enforcement.

Foxhound commented on a Reddit post with the latest statement from the studio:

Hi! Sail 630 Nuclear Bug notice is indeed a logout message as it was previously distributed and now noticed by your colleagues. If you are logged out in the middle of the match, this error has the potential to occur.

We have an update to share: the recent applications of the accounts have been reviewed and, as appropriate, the accounts that are believed to work in good faith have been re-established. Accounts that included additional signals for operations will retain their application.

As always, we encourage everyone to enjoy Zombies on PC under the terms of use.

He continued to follow after a user commented on why they initially decided to “lie”. Foxy replied that he provided the latest information he had at the time, but after further investigation things changed.

We have always provided the latest information available at the time of posting. According to the data available to us, the accounts that have retained their application are verified for violating the Cold War Security and Implementation Policy Call of Duty: Black Ops. Accounts believed to work in good faith have been reinstated.

He also reiterated that PC players are “safe” to continue playing Zombies in Black Ops Cold War.

As mentioned above, you can safely enjoy Zombies on your PC under the terms of use. Don’t worry if you go to big rounds!

Original story:

In the early days of the Black Ops Cold War, Zombies players had world records suddenly ended by substantial accidents. Now, a new error code has hit Zombies players back in the menu and they claim that their accounts are permanently banned when they log in again.

Starting April 2, the “Sail 630 Nuclear Bug” crashed the Zombies games of PC players when they are at high levels. Reddit user Korlesa was reportedly banned after receiving this code and was posted in the CODZombies subreddit to highlight the issue.

In the post “People are falsely banned while going on big rounds in Zombies on PC”, Korlesa described how “after more than 50 rounds, people get a” Sail 630 Nuclear Bug “error. At the exit from Battle.net we see that we were banned for good “.

Before the post was blocked to support its claim, Korlesa compiled over 70 posts on the Activision support page in which players reported that they were falsely banned after receiving the 630 Sail Nuclear Bug.

Korlesa summarized these reports by highlighting what most of them had in common:

  • They were on the PC
  • Zombies were playing
  • They’ve been in a big round (over 50 years)
  • They received the same error (Sail 630 Nuclear Bug)

Treyarch’s community manager Josh Torres aka FoxhoundFPS responded to the Reddit post. “I can’t help you with this problem,” he said. “All offenses are subject to a thorough review process by the security team prior to execution.”

However, the original post and the CODZombies subreddit continued to be flooded, with players reporting the issue and worrying about whether it was safe. After a worried Zombies fan asked if he should avoid the game until the problem is fixed, FoxhoundFPS he replied with a full statement.

We are aware that some players see the Sail 630 Nuclear Bug message and then cannot log in while seeing a ban message. The prohibition message is not caused by logout errors. For questions about enforcement policies, please visit this link.

We spoke to our teams about recent Sail 630 Nuclear Bug topics and reports and here’s what I need to share.

Sail 630 Nuclear Bug: This series of errors is currently presented instead of the standard logout language when a logout appears in the Zombies menus on your computer. Typically, PC gamers would see: “The connection to the Blizzard game server has been lost. Exit and try again. BLZBNTBGS000003F8. ”

We encourage players to continue playing zombies, as usual, which includes tracking high rounds and best personal results.

After another user asked if players who were banned after seeing the error message will recover their accounts, FoxhoundFPS reiterated its statement.

I stated in my post that the bans are not the result of a logout or logout error. Recent applications are not errors or errors.

Players facing disconnections are not subject to enforcement unless they violate the security and enforcement policy of Call of Duty: Black Ops during the Cold War. As we have always stated, all offenses are subject to a thorough examination by the security team before execution.

Players are able and encouraged to maintain or resume the normal game of Zombies.

To summarize, Torres conveyed the concerns of the players to the security team, who then said that Sail 630 Nuclear Bug is a standard error message that has nothing to do with player bans.
