Apex Legends Season 9 is just a few weeks away, so Respawn has started teasing the upcoming Battle Pass with a cryptic group of challenges. Are you curious about what those “required invitation” symbols on the map mean? Want to know where to find Holosprays on Kings Canyon and Olympus? We cover you with all the maps and steps you need.
Invitation Required – How to get an invitation to the season 9 teaser
If you’ve seen the message “invitation required” appears in recent games Apex Legends, you may be wondering where to find one. To receive an invitation, take the last rounds of the match until the care packages become available. When you open the package, three small tablets are guaranteed to come out. Pick up one of the tablets, as these are your invitation to start the teaser. It will allow you to scan Holospray scattered in Olympus and Kings Canyon.

When you return to the lobby, you’ll see a small tablet icon next to the list of stats and friends. Click on it and you will receive the following message from Ash:
“If fame and fortune are all you’re looking for, Legend, your journey ends here. But a new challenge awaits those who want to prove their worth in the Arena.”
Then you will see a message that says, “Decrypt the access code: new challenges unlocked.”
Challenges tell you to decrypt three Holosprays access codes on Kings Canyon and Olympus.
Holospray locations with password
Invitation in hand, you can now start interacting with the large number of Holosprays codes scattered throughout Kings Canyon and Olympus. Fortunately, Apex Legends Leaker Shrugtal quickly created a location map for all Holospray locations on both maps. It is embedded in the tweet below. For those who prefer the direction of the text, we will describe some of the locations in list format.

Kings Canyon
- On the west edge of the map, directly west of Airbase.
- On the north side of the drain.
- In the middle of the pit.
- On the bridge in the Bunker.
- Near the buildings south of Labs.
- In the southwest corner of the Hydro Dam.
- In the northeast corner of the platform.
- In the eastern part of the swamps, close to the edge of the map.
Olympus
- Hammond Labs Peak.
- The middle building in Estates.
- In the middle of the Grow Tower.
- On the southwest side of the Turbine.
- On the west side of the Rift.
- Northwest Bonsai Plaza Building.
After finding and scanning at least three Holosprays codes on each map, the final step of the teaser is expected to activate on April 20th. You will find a special platform behind the Shooting Range to enter the access code, to talk to Ash and be taken to the Arena. That’s all we know about Apex Legends Season 9 teaser for now, but we’ll add more as this story unfolds.
