Stage Changelog: Destiny 2 brings back the Guardian games

The gaming industry as a whole is a bit quiet now, but there have been a few more updates, announcements and additions for the Stadium. This week, Bungie announced the return of the Guardian Games for Destiny 2, as Cyberpunk 2077 received a notable patch and more.

Changelog Stadium is a weekly series on 9to5Google, where we gather some of the Stadium news that we could not talk about otherwise. New games available now on Stage

Only two new games appeared on the Stage this week, both indie titles and, in particular, the sequel to The Darkside Detective.

As of this week, Google has added 42 games to the Stage in the calendar year 2021, on its way to the promise of at least 100 titles added this year.

Destiny 2 revives the Guardian games

Google bet on Bungie’s Destiny 2 in the early days of Stadia, and the game continues to move, now with the return of the Guardian Games. The Guardian Games were originally launched in Destiny 2 in 2020 as a “mix between the Olympics and a popularity contest”, as Polygon she calls him.

Bungie has full details about the 2021 Guardian Games in Destiny 2 on its website Here. The event starts next week on April 20 and runs until May 11. It is a free event for all players, and on Stadia it is really free, because the game is free, without the need for additional hardware.

Risk of rain 2 years update

After hitting Steam in recent weeks, Risk of Rain 2 took over the anniversary update on Google Stage this week. The upgrade brings in particular a new survivor for both players and new objects and enemies. You can check everything that is new Here.

Assassin’s Creed Wrath of the Druids delayed

Bad news for fans of the latest version of Assassin’s Creed. Ubisoft announced this week that the next expansion for Valhalla, Wrath of the Druids, has been postponed until May 13.

Cyberpunk 2077 1.21

Cyberpunk 2077 launched a lot of problems, but over time, CD Projekt Red managed to prevent many of them. This week, the 1.21 hotfix was released to players on all platforms, including the Stadium. Immortals: Fenyx Rising “The Lost Gods”

Ubisoft announced this week that Immortals: Fenyx Rising will receive the “God Gods” expansion on April 22 on all platforms, including Stadia. You can capture the full details Here.

Games coming to the Stadium

Google has been essentially silent on the new games coming to the Stage this week, but there was a climax. After some evidence was previously discovered, the developers behind it Instinct although he confirmed that it could happen. A tweet prompted the Stadia community to gather behind the game, prompting producers to contact the creator of the original station to confirm that they are “seriously considering” a port.
