Born out of the desire to homologate for use in motorsport, the Porsche 911 GT3 is one of the hardcore models in the 911 range. And it receives a new version for the 992 generation, which was just unveiled in February this year.
We all know the details of the new 911 GT3 based on its debut, but we still have an itch to get behind the wheel to test the improvements. It seems that Porsche has already turned to European motoring journals to have a try on the latest 911 GT3, and this acceleration video from Motorsport Magazine carries some details.

The above acceleration test was from 0-200 kilometers per hour (124 miles per hour). It was a POV video, which gave us a brief look at the 911 GT3 model equipped with PDK from the outside and inside. It also included the heartbeat from the naturally aspirated flat-six and its dual outlets. We recommend using expensive headphones for the best sound experience in the cabin, albeit practical.
The video did not come with the time spent to reach 200 km / h, however. Not like you need one, but by our own measure, the 911 GT3 managed to reach that speed in about 9.6 seconds.
Of course, this is not accurate, because it was largely based on my reaction time, but at least you have an idea. For comparison, it was recorded that the previous 991 911 GT3 series reached 200 km / h from scratch in 10.6 seconds.
Whatever the official time, we all know that the latest GT3 is naturally an improvement over its predecessor. In addition, it surpassed the Nurburgring’s 12,944 mi (20,832 km) configuration in 6 minutes and 59,927 seconds, much faster than the model it replaced.
