Apple Fitness + adds workouts for pregnant women and the elderly

Fitness + is already doing an admirable job of making fun workouts accessible to those just starting out on their fitness journey. And Apple continues to lean on that aspect of the service, with a series of courses for people often overlooked by the fitness community. The company introduces workouts specifically designed for pregnant women and older adults. There are 18 sessions to be found in the two categories, each individual training lasting about 10 minutes.

Apple says you’ll be in good hands with coaches who know a thing or two about exercise at that stage of life. For example, pregnancy hours are led by mother Betina Gozo. As with most other Fitness + workouts, other trainers will be available to demonstrate potential changes. In addition, Apple adds new workouts focused on beginners, which you will find in the categories of yoga, strength and high intensity range. If you want to learn a proper shape, this is where you start.

In addition to the new classes, Apple is adding additional coaches to the Fitness + team. One of them is Jonelle Lewis, a 15-year-old yoga expert. Finally, the company plans to release a new episode of its “Time to Walk” series in time for Earth Day, April 22nd. The episode will feature Jane Fonda, who talks about resilience to one’s fears and the power to sustain climate change. All Fitness + completions will be available starting April 19th. In the US, Fitness + costs $ 10 per month or $ 80 per year. It is also included in Apple One Premier plans.
