MAJOR LEAGUES – Rafael Devers hits fifth homer, led in a fourth victory in a row by Boston

Rafael Devers won for the fourth game in a row, and the Boston Red Sox defeated Minnesota Minnesota 4-2 in the snow on Tuesday.

The evening meeting was the first in the series, which was postponed Monday after the death of a black citizen shot by police in a suburb near Minneapolis.

Hunter Renfroe made a solo home round and Bobby Dalbec added a pair of RBI doubles for Boston, who won the seventh game in a row after losing the first three games of the season.

Adam Ottavino (1-0) won the victory with a relief half. Matt Barnes has completed the ninth episode to perfection, for his first save of the season.

For the Red Sox, Devers 3-1 with a marked run and an RBI.

For the twins, the Dominicans Jorge Polanco 2-0 with an RBI, Miguel Sanó 2-0.

MARIURI 4, ORIOLES 3

BALTIMORE – Kyle Seager hit an RBI double in the eighth and the Seattle Mariners won their third extra inning in as many tries this season, defeating the Baltimore Orioles 4-3 on Tuesday night.

Rafael Montero (1-0) won the victory despite the scattering of the lead in the seventh half. Kendall Graveman set the eighth for his first career save.

Shortened to seven regular innings, this match was postponed the day before due to rain and took place on Tuesday as the first of a double. Seager, who reached base in nine of his last 10 bat-bats, doubled with one outside of Tanner Scott (0-1).

The ball landed in the middle of the box, scoring Mitch Haniger, who started the eighth half as a runner in the second.

Seattle won the third game in a row. The Orioles have lost four straight games and six of seven since the start of the season, sweeping a three-game series in Boston.

For the sailors, the Dominican José Marmolejos 1-0.

For the Orioles, the Dominicans Maikel Franco 3-0, Pedro Severino 3-0.
