He broke the silence! Yasiel Puig issued a press release in which he gives his testimony and experiences after being accused of sexual abuse by a woman. The Cuban details his infidelity towards his wife and says what the situation was like when he went through with the applicant, in his attempt to prove his innocence. The outfield went through difficult months because, as a result of this problem, he did not find a new team in MLB.
Yasiel Puig no longer wants them to “get his name dirty” and on Tuesday, April 13, he made public his testimony and his version of events related to the alleged sexual abuse of a woman, who sued him for it.
Puig, along with his nicknames, published a three-page text through his official Twitter account, which, among many points, reads that “the intimate meeting was agreed by both parties and that the woman had the same initiative.”
The Cuban gardener adds that the victim decided to sue him “on the basis of fabricated evidence” and added that both he and the woman committed infidelity to their respective partners.
The meeting between Yasiel Puig and the “anonymous” woman took place in October 2018, at Staples Center, after a game in Los Angeles Lakers. According to the woman’s version, the player abused her in the bathrooms of the building.
Yasiel Puig is experiencing months of uncertainty regarding his professional career in MLB because, as a result of these accusations, no team has decided to sign him for the 2021 season that has already begun.
